Angrove Park’s 5 acre site is the ideal location to create your bespoke outdoor dream wedding. In its secluded picturesque setting, surrounded by woodland, with the back drop of the Cleveland Hills the site lends itself to a serene yet spirited atmosphere. Angrove Park is an ‘exclusive use’ site. Once you are a registered guest the site is exclusively yours, there will be no events running parallel or bars or restaurants open to the public, the only people who will be able to gain access will be your guests, pre-booked suppliers & providers and Angrove Park staff involved with your event.

Whalton Manor, located in the unspoilt, traditional, Northumbrian village of Whalton, is a venue for all seasons. Whatever the time of year, the stunning scenery will not be outdone. Passing through the wisteria-covered Lutyens arch, into the tranquil beauty inside the garden walls, couples looking for an intimate, private venue with that individual feel will have found the perfect setting for their ceremony.

Their recently refurbished Priory Buildings stand right beside Hexham Abbey. They offer a fantastic choice of rooms to suit large and small receptions. The elegant Great Hall with its Regency decorated ceiling, and west facing windows overlooking the Abbey Grounds, will seat up to 120 for a meal, with plenty of room for dancing later.

The Lighthouse, completed in 1898 on a hazardous coast for shipping, remained operational until 1984 when it was superseded by modern navigational techniques. Since then the Lighthouse and former keepers’ cottages have been operated as a visitor centre by North Tyneside Council.

The surrounding Nature Reserve contains an area of rockpools, clifftop grassland, a beach and newly created wetland habitats.
