West Hall Scout Campsite
West Hall is South Tyneside District Scouts own camp site with Lodge facility. As well as traditional camping, West Hall is ideally placed for a variety of activities including a number of nature walks in the surrounding area. West Hall is not far from South Shields and Sunderland’s award winning coastlines and beaches and is only 35 minutes drive to Newcastle and a 15 minutes drive to Sunderland city centre.
Thief Hole Cottages
The beautifully renovated buildings, the idyllic country settings and the friendly professional service all conspire to make Thief Hole Cottages one of the most romantic of wedding venues in Yorkshire. The atmosphere is delightfully friendly and relaxed and the wedding venue can be hired exclusively on the day so you can relax with family and friends in your own secluded country idyll.

We were really happy with everything. I haven’t heard any bad comments about the food. Everybody was extremely positive including all the people with dietary requirements. I have specifically asked if the ‘alternative’ food was good and only got positive replies. Therefore, I would like to thank you and the team very much.
